While Ghatotkatch is the story of a young and frightened kid who goes on to become a hero of the greatest war fought on the land that came to be known as Mahabharata. The movie has choreographed title track with foot tapping music that will make the kids clan dance along with the jungle family.

Written and directed Rakesh Prasad, both the films have music contributed by Nitin Gupta. The pre and post production along with voice overs has been done inhouse at Shethia except for some processes which have been done by Fountain Pixels. Elaborating on this, Rahul Gadiya, CEO, Fountain Pixels said, “The character designing, story boarding, layout designing / BG Painting, key animation / IB & CU (on paper), digitizing / ink and paint, flash animation, special effects and compositing was done by us. The post production which included BG score, final dubbing and final editing was done by Shethia.”

Why are both the movies based on mythological themes we ask, to which Amit replied, “There are European and American animation filmmakers who are making movies on varied subjects. In India however there is a great demand for mythological themes. We have so many folklore and stories here that need to be told, we wish to deal with them first. We at Shethia are looking forward to work on fictionalized storylines as well but we have not come across any appealing script as yet.”

The most challenging task in the complete venture was competition, states Amit. “As soon as we announced our film, other filmmakers also announced movies on similar lines. So going ahead with the project and making it different was an uphill task. Also we had to fasten the complete process so as to bring our product first,” he added
